Please note that we can't take same day bookings over the phone or online. Any remaining tickets each day will be sold on the door.
Museum admission: You can book Museum admission online (see our online booking pages) or by calling 01494 892192 (Text Relay 18001 01494 892192) up until the day before your visit (booking line open 10am to 4.30pm Tues to Fri, 11am to 4.30pm Sat and Sun).
You can also buy tickets on the door on the day. There may be a queue during very busy times, or we may have to sell you a ticket that permits entry later in the day. During Buckinghamshire half-term holidays, we can't guarantee that there will be any tickets available on the door.
Please note Museum admission doesn't include workshops. These need to be booked separately.
Workshops: To book workshops please give us a call until the day before your visit (subject to availability) on 01494 892192 (Text Relay 18001 01494 892192) (booking line open 10am to 4.30pm Tues to Fri, 11am to 4.30pm Sat and Sun). We will take your Museum admission at the same time if you haven't already purchased it. You can only book worsshops over the phone, or (if there is space available) on the ticket desk on the day of the workshop. You can't currently book workshop spaces online.
Workshops can sell out in advance so are subject to availability. We will sell any remaining workshop tickets on the day at the ticket desk on a first come, first served basis.
Calling the Museum: If you ring us to book tickets and/or workshops and the ticket line is busy you will be redirected to the answerphone. Please leave your name and number and we will call you back.
The Museum is aimed at 6 to 12 year olds and their families, but welcomes visitors of all ages. Inside the Museum you'll find three interactive galleries, a craft room, cafe and shop. Throughout school holidays and at weekends we run storytelling sessions hourly.

Great Missenden is a village in the heart of the Buckinghamshire countryside, situated about 20 miles northwest of London.
We recommend visiting us by train, we are 5 minutes walk from Great Missenden station, served by Chiltern Railways. Parking can be found nearby in the Link Road Car Park, postcode HP16 9AE. Please note local car parks can get very busy, especially during peak times. Please leave plenty of time for parking, or visit us by train.
