Opening hours

Tuesday to Friday 10am to 5pm
Saturday and Sunday 11am to 5pm

Closed on Mondays except bank holiday Mondays and Mondays in Buckinghamshire half-term holidays.

Please note that disabled visitors are entitled to the concessionary rate of £4.40. Accompanying carers are admitted free of charge.

Little Bird Vouchers. Please note these are valid on Saturdays and Sundays ONLY. Call us in advance to book on 01494 892192 (Text Relay 18001 01494 892192), we will need your voucher code so have it handy. Alternatively bring your voucher with you on the day.

Museum admission: You can book Museum admission online (see our online booking pages) or by calling 01494 892192 (Text Relay 18001 01494 892192) up until the day before your visit (booking line open 10am to 4.30pm Tues to Fri, 11am to 4.30pm Sat and Sun).

You can also buy tickets on the door on the day (there may sometimes be a queue and/or a short wait during very busy times. Please book in advance for half-term holidays as we can't guarentee entry on the day during these times: 22 to 30 October 2016).

Workshops: To book workshops please give us a call until the day before your visit (subject to availability) on 01494 892192 (Text Relay 18001 01494 892192) (booking line open 10am to 4.30pm Tues to Fri, 11am to 4.30pm Sat and Sun). We will take your Museum admission at the same time if you haven't already purchased it.

Workshops can sell out in advance so are subject to availability. We will sell any remaining workshop tickets on the day at the ticket desk on a first come, first served basis.

The Museum is aimed at 6 to 12 year olds and their families, but welcomes visitors of all ages. Inside the Museum you'll find three interactive galleries, a craft room, cafe and shop. Throughout school holidays and at weekends we run storytelling sessions hourly.
