The Giraffe and the Pelly and Me lesson plans

Try our citizenship lesson, exploring the power of good teamwork

Roald Dahl's The Giraffe and the Pelly and Me, illustrated by Quentin Blake.

The Giraffe and the Pelly and Me was published in 1985. It tells the tale of Billy and his friends - the Giraffe, the Pelican and the Monkey - who together make up the Laderless Window-Cleaning Company.

Your students will have fun with our citizenship lesson plan, which uses the animals from the story to explore the power of good teamwork.

Download the lesson plan using the panel on the right, and take a look at our other educational resources and ways to have fun with your class, from Dahlicious Dress Up Day to Puffin Virtually Live.
