Everything you need to run your Dahlicious Dress Up Day
The Dahlicious Dress Up Day is a fun-filled fancy dress day in aid of Roald Dahl's Marvellous Children's Charity. Children are invited to donate £1 to come to school dressed as their favourite Roald Dahl character.
It is very easy to get your school involved. It's also great way to begin the school term, engage children's imaginations and ignite their passion for reading.
Register now to receive your fundraising pack. You'll receive a step-by-step guide to running your event, posters, stickers and a paying-in slip for your donations.
There are also lots of resources for parents about creating costumes and to also help teachers with classroom activities on the day. Use the links on the right hand side of this page for everything you will need to have a marvellous day.
The money raised by schools taking part in the Dahlicious Dress Up Day enables Roald Dahl's Marvellous Children's Charity to continue helping seriously ill children around the UK.
Can we take part on a different day?
The official Dahlicious Dress Up Day is Friday 26th September 2014 but your school can hold one whenever is convenient for you.
Can we have more stickers and posters?
Once you have received your fundraising pack there will be information about how to order additional resources you may need for your day.
Do we have to raise money for Roald Dahl's Marvellous Children's Charity?
The Dahlicious Dress Up Day is a fundraising event, and Roald Dahl's Marvellous Children's Charity spends time and money to produce the resources to support the day. We would ask that if you want to use these resources, please do so to raise money for Roald Dahl's Marvellous Children's Charity so that we can continue supporting the seriously ill and disabled children who need our help.
How do I pay in the money raised?
Visit our Pay in your donation page for details
Will you send us a certificate?
All schools that take part and pay in their donation will receive a thank you letter and certificate. Please make sure you let us know the name and address of your school when paying in your donation so we know who to thank.
If you have any further questions and would like to speak to a human bean, please get in touch.
