Exclusive to the Roald Dahl Shop this fascinating book from The Roald Dahl Museum tells the tale of Roald Dahl's Writing Hut.
Roald Dahl moved to Great Missenden in Buckinghamshire, England in 1954. All of his famous children's stories were written in a writing hut, specially built for him in his garden by his friend Wally Saunders (the inspiration for The BFG).
The Writing Hut was Roald Dahl's private working space in which he adapted the furniture to minimise his aches and pains. Over the years he assembled a collection of momentoes from his friends, family and fans. This book provides some great clues as to what inspired the world's number one storyteller...
The interior of the Writing Hut is now pride of place in the Roald Dahl Museum in Great Missenden.
