From 28 May to 5 June
The Roald Dahl Museum, Great Missenden, Buckinghamshire
Join us for a bumper half-term packed with storytelling and trails. Why not bring the kids and listen to your favourite books read by our expert storytellers? Brilliant fun for all the family, with adults (yes you!) as well as children encouraged to join in.
Head to the three galleries and pull a power pose next to Matilda, measure yourself against Roald Dahl’s most popular characters, test your sparkiness on their Spark-o-meter, and try out Roald’s writing chair for size. Plus a zillion other hands-on activities. No sitting down for you adults, until you relax in the courtyard for a breather - phew!
We'll be open 10am to 4.30pm on the following dates. Storytelling takes place every day, listen out for announcements!
We'll have no cafe or food stall this half-term. But don't panic, we've got lots of tables in the courtard and Children Eating Room (not as scary as it sounds) so feel free to bring your own picnic, or bring in food and drink from one of the fab local cafes along the High Street. Find details of these here. You can pop out to get food and come back into the Museum, we're pretty chill.
We recommend booking in advance. Don't forget that your ticket allows you to visit the Museum for a whole year!
