Monday 30th December
12.00pm, 1.30pm, and 3.00pm
The Roald Dahl Museum, Great Missenden, Buckinghamshire
Gremlins were the mischievous mythical creatures featured in Roald Dahl’s first ever book for children, The Gremlins.
You’ll get the chance to find out more about this now out-of-print book, including the RAF (Royal Air Force) folklore behind their creation and how Roald Dahl ended up working with Walt Disney to create the book. Then you will work just like Walt Disney’s illustrators did with Roald, by listening to Roald’s description to inspire your own clay version of these naughty little beasts. Prepare to have lots of messy fun!
Times: 12.00pm, 1.30pm and 3.00pm
Cost: £4 per participant. Adults are welcome to pay to make their own. Price does not include Museum entry which you will also need to book to take part in the workshop.
