The Café at the Roald Dahl Museum in Great Missenden, Bucks offers a delumptious range of freshly prepared food and drink.
Visitors booked on to a guided visit will have the option to book a takeaway lunch box that will be ready to pick up when their visit ends.
These cost £8 for adults, and £6 for children. Adults’ picnic boxes include ham and cheese sandwiches, a soft drink and a freshly baked scone with jam and clotted cream (veggie tomato, mozzarella and pesto option available). Kids’ veggie picnic boxes contain either jam or cheese sandwiches, a soft drink, a packet of raisins and a delicious sweet treat.

Museum visitors and passersby will be able to pop into the Cafe to order takeway hot and cold drinks and choose from a specially selected selection of cakes and snacks.
Thursday to Sunday 11am to 3pm
Our pretty courtyard will remain open for people who have picked up their picnic boxes and would like to eat at the Museum. This is a first come, first served space. Alternatively, visitors can use the Buryfield for a picnic, which is a short walk away.
Social distancing rules apply in the Cafe, so please follow the signs and guidance from our staff. All purchases from the Café help support the Museum charity.
