Visitor Operations Officer at the Roald Dahl Museum

We're looking for a Visitor Operations Officer to join our team

Visitor Operations Officer

The Roald Dahl Museum and Story Centre, Great Missenden, Buckinghamshire

Base salary: £16,550 per annum for 30 hours per week, 0.81 FTE (pro rata from FTE of £20,412). More hours may be available, working days would typically include a weekend day.

Do you want to be part of a dynamic and evolving Museum Team? Can you deliver great customer service? If the answer is ‘yes’, you could be our new Visitor Operations Officer.

The Roald Dahl Museum and Story Centre welcomes thousands of people through our doors every year to experience the wonder and magic of Roald Dahl’s stories. To make sure we keep giving the warmest possible welcome, our Visitor Operations Officer plays a key role in setting the standard for our team of Museum Assistants, so that all our visitors have as safe and enjoyable time with us as possible.

As the Visitor Operations Officer, your working day is based on supporting the Duty Officer, who is the senior person in charge of site operation - retail, facilities and visitor experience - on a given day. You will be keen to develop new skills and match your enthusiasms with the work of a Museum that really values and supports professional development.

Come and work with a friendly team in the lovely village of Great Missenden, just 45 minutes from London but surrounded by the beautiful countryside that inspired Roald Dahl.
