Salary: £25,078 per year for 37 hours per week
Type of post: Fixed term contract from March 2021, for up to 60 weeks

The Roald Dahl Museum and Story Centre welcomes thousands of people through our doors every year to experience the wonder and magic of Roald Dahl’s stories. Most of these people will visit either as a family or as a school group and will usually experience at least one activity created by the Learning Team for these audiences.
As our Learning Officer (maternity cover), you will be devising, developing and assuring the quality of activities across both the school and the public programmes. During the current COVID crisis, the Learning Team is busy working to engage these same audiences through our model of Guided Visits and the development of our Livestream Learning Project; our Learning Officer (maternity cover) will play a key role in both of these.
This role will suit someone looking to make the most of the opportunity within a supportive and dynamic team. You’ll already be creating learning experiences for children and families within the heritage sector.
You will need to have some flexibility about your working hours for the delivery of our programmes. Our Learning Officer (maternity cover) will also be part of the rostered team who act as weekend Duty Officers for the Museum.
Come and work with a friendly team in the lovely village of Great Missenden, just 45 minutes from London but surrounded by the beautiful countryside that inspired Roald Dahl.
