Roald Dahl’s Marvellous Children’s Charity has created a series of Phizz-whizzing Workshops to teach primary school age children about core values including bravery, empathy, resilience and kindness. The workshops highlight the charity’s work, the vital role its Roald Dahl Specialist Nurses play in supporting over 21,000 seriously ill children across the UK and why these values are important to foster better understanding of the challenges faced by children with lifelong illnesses.
Each workshop has a challenge at the end to help children learn and have fun at the same time. Once they have completed the Kindness Workshop, they will have the opportunity to come up with fundraising ideas and put the FUN in FUNdraising! Check out our Phizz-whizzing Fundraising page to find out how to get started. The Phizz-whizzing Workshops are supported by Doctor Who herself, Jodie Whittaker, Blue Peter presenter, Richie Driss and CBBC Presenter, Ed Petrie and we will be announcing the winner of our Croc-tastic Compeition, very soon, which they have judged and we'll be launching the winning idea as part of our Roald Dahl Day fundraising activities.
