Our Senior Leadership Team is responsible for the strategy and operations of the organisation, carrying out the direction set by our Trustees. Meet the team below.

CEO, Louise Griew

Our team is led by Chief Executive Louise Griew with support and supervision from our Board of Trustees. Louise joined the charity in June 2019, having previously worked as CEO of the RAF Sports Federation, and Director of Fundraising and Communications for the Dame Kelly Holmes Trust, Greenhouse Sports and the Mayor’s Fund for London. Before this she spent much of her career working in sport marketing and sponsorship agencies. 

Louise’s Senior Leadership Team includes:

Head of Programmes, Sophie Dziwinski

Sophie has worked at the charity for over a decade, being a key part of its growth having led the charitable activities, including the flagship Roald Dahl nursing programme.

Head of Fundraising and Communications, Tom Dixon

Tom joined the team in December 2018 having spent the last 17 years in a number of different fundraising roles at Scope, World Cancer Research Fund and the Fisherman’s Mission. Tom is an active member of the Institute of Fundraising, working with others to improve fundraising across the sector as a whole, but passionate about helping seriously ill children and their families.

Head of Finance and HR, Mark Turner

Mark has worked within the organisation for over four years - prior to moving to the charity sector, he worked in various finance roles in different sectors including pharmaceuticals and IT.
