Our wonderful Roald Dahl Story Company colleague, Grace completed her first London Marathon in a MARVELLOUS 4 hrs 27 mins on Oct 4th raising a fantastic £2557.60 for Roald Dahl’s Marvellous Children’s Charity.

Last weekend Logan (7) and his family held a charity football match to fundraise in aid of Roald Dahl’s Marvellous Children’s Charity and they raised a MARVELLOUS £1260!

Roald Dahl's Marvellous Children's Charity is thrilled to announce that Roald Dahl Specialist Nurse, Giselle Padmore-Payne has won the Child Health award at the prestigious RCNi (Royal College of Nursing Institute) Awards, which celebrate the best in nursing across the UK, from innovative projects to inspiring examples of patient care.

Roald Dahl’s Marvellous Children’s Charity, which provides specialist nurses and support for seriously ill children across the UK, is delighted to announce that Dr Nighat Arif, resident GP for BBC Breakfast and This Morning, has been appointed as an ambassador for the charity.

Celebrities including David Walliams, Claudia Winkleman and Julie Walters are taking part in BGC Partners’ 16th annual Charity Day to help raise funds for charitable causes including Roald Dahl’s Marvellous Children’s Charity, which provides specialist nurses and support to serious ill children with complex, lifelong illnesses.

A knitting group based in Hertfordshire town, Hemel Hempstead are raising money for Roald Dahl’s Marvellous Children’s Charity with an eye-catching literary knitting trail featuring famous scenes and characters from the UK’s best loved children’s books.

Schools around the UK are preparing to put the FUN into FUNdraising and host parties for Roald Dahl Story Day to raise money for Roald Dahl’s Marvellous Children’s Charity. The charity urgently needs funds so it can provide more Roald Dahl Specialist Nurses and help seriously ill children lead a more marvellous life.

Charlie, who has epilepsy and is supported by Roald Dahl Specialist Nurse, Kirsten, chose to celebrate his 13th birthday with an engraved wristband as a special memory of his 2.6 challenge to raise money for Roald Dahl’s Marvellous Children’s Charity and to thank Kirsten.
