Marvellous Matilda events and activities at the Roald Dahl Museum
Looking for something marvellous to do with the family this Easter? Then bring the kids along to the Roald Dahl Museum for a little bit of Matilda magic!
This Easter, our workshops celebrate Roald Dahl's ever-popular book, Matilda. Throughout the holidays, your kids can try out anything from making a clay pot in the shape of Miss Trunchbull - Matilda's formidable headmistress - to making a comic book storyboard inspired by the story.
If your kids would like to meet brilliant, up-beat authors, then don't miss our events with poet Paul Lyalls and author and illustrator Mel Elliot. Both events will leave you all (yes, adults can get involved too!) with some great tips for your own writing, and inspired to put pen to paper when you get home.
For all you Quentin Blake fans! Roald Dahl's principal illustrator has created eight new drawings of Matilda to celebrate 30 years since the publication of the book. You can view these exclusive drawings at the Museum until 2 June, so make sure you see them if you're visiting over Easter.
Or, if you just want to book, you can do this online (workshop options appear after you select admission) or by calling 01494 892192.
