Beastly goings-on this February half-term

Join us for some beastly goings-on at the Museum, as we celebrate 35 years of Dirty Beasts and 40 years of The Enormous Crocodile.

From workshops to storytelling, there's lots for all the family at the Museum this February half-term. Find out about some of the ghastly animals in Roald Dahl's Dirty Beasts on our Beasts Battlecards Trail, make crackling crafts inspired by Roald Dahl's books, and listen to some rip-roaring storytelling.

Explore our half-term events.

Roald Dahl, Dirty Beasts

Whether you decide to come face to face with some minbeats, or join in with a beastly party this half-term, you'll find out about two of Roald Dahl's brilliant books, The Enormous Crocodile and Dirty Beasts

Both books are celebrating an anniversary this year - The Enormous Crocodile was published 40 years ago, and Dirty Beasts was published 35 years ago (how old?!) - but they are as popular today as they have always been. Packed with mischievous creatures and dastardly animals they're both grusome and hilarious in equal measure. If you haven't read them yet, you're missing out!
