Join bestselling author and award-winning poet Jen Campbell for an inspiring hour of storytelling and crafts.
Enjoy interactive storytelling from her brilliant new book Franklin and Luna go to the Moon, a tale of friendship, dragons and space! Then create your own planet, inspired by the book.
Great for adults and kids who love books and drawing, and who would love to meet a real-life author! This workshop will leave you all feeling inspired to put pen to paper, or to pick up a new book.
Franklin and Luna go to the Moon is a beautiful picture book about Luna and her best friend, Franklin the dragon. Written by Jen Campbell, and illustrated by Katie Harnett.

Jen is a brilliant author of best-selling books for adults and children, including short story collections and poetry. She's a recipient of an Eric Gregory Award and won the Jane Martin Poetry Prize.
Times: 12.00pm, 1.30pm and 3.00pm
Cost: £3 per person, adults and children. Everyone who attends needs to pay for a space although children under 2 who can sit on laps are free of charge. Price does not include Museum entry which you will also need to book to take part in the workshop.
Age: recommended for 5+ years. Under 16s will need to be accompanied by an paying adult.
