Whizzbanging Words: Write an Insect Tale

Find out how Roald Dahl created the story of James and the Giant Peach, his first famous children’s story. Then use some of his wondercrump techniques to get your own insect tale underway.

Times: 12.00pm, 1.30pm and 3.00pm

Cost: £3 per participant. Price does not include Museum entry which you will also need to book to take part in the workshop.

Age: suitable for 6+ years. Under 16s will need to be accompanied by an adult (no more than two non-participating adults will be allowed in the room per group). Participating children under 5 years will still need to pay.

Booking: you can book Museum entry and workshops online up until the day before (subject to availability). Workshop options will appear after selecting your Museum admission.

If there are any unsold workshop tickets they will be sold on the day on a first come, first served basis at the ticket desk.
