The Roald Dahl Museum, Great Missenden
Get lolloping outdoors. Join our guided walks around the village that Roald Dahl lived and wrote his stories in. On our Village Trail you’ll see some of the local sights along the High Street that inspired Roald Dahl, and visit the author’s grave at the Church. On the Countryside Trail you’ll explore slightly further afield and see some of the local Chilterns countryside and woods that Roald Dahl walked in and used for inspiration.
Times: 11.30am Guided Village Trail, 2pm Guided Countryside Trail
Cost: £1.50 per person, per walk, adults and children. Everyone who attends needs to pay for a space although children under 2 are free of charge. Price does not include Museum entry which you will also need to book to take part in the walk.
Age: recommended for 4+ years. Under 16s will need to be accompanied by a paying adult.
Type of workshop: guided walk
Dogs: No dogs are allowed on the walk or in the Museum
Accessibility: both walks last approx. one hour. The Countryside Trail is along country paths which are sometimes uneven.
Booking: you can book Museum entry and workshops online up until 4.30pm the day before (subject to availability). Workshop options will appear after selecting your Museum admission.

If there are any unsold workshop tickets they will be sold on the day on a first come, first served basis at the ticket desk.
