Essential visiting information

Please be aware that the museum will need to maintain strict timings for the days when three school sessions are running on site. Teachers/adult carers must ensure groups are supervised at all times when not in the structured school sessions. Access to the Museum galleries is only possible during the school sessions. However, access to the children’s eating areas, toilets and shop will be available at all times.

Please try to arrive on time, and let us know if you are running late on the day as soon as you possibly can by calling 01494 892192. Please be aware that the Museum will need to maintain timings for your visit. On certain days we have to be especially strict on timings due to the number of children onsite. We will do our best to ensure you still have a wonderful experience in the Museum with the time available.
