Roald Dahl Young People’s Transition Nurse Coordinator

Roald Dahl's Marvellous Children's Charity and Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust are seeking a Roald Dahl Young People’s Transition Nurse Coordinator to provide expert care and support for young people across the Trust.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Band 7 nurse to play a key role in providing expert care and support to young people transitioning from child to adult healthcare services, across Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust.

The successful post holder will support young people accessing services across Lewisham, Greenwich and Bexley and will lead on developing the young people's transition strategy, using their professional and clinical leadership skills to provide support, advice and education in inpatient and outpatient settings.

The successful applicant will also be able to access the Roald Dahl professional development package which will help them to develop their career and the service.  

Roald Dahl’s Marvellous Children’s Charity has over 70 Roald Dahl Specialist Children’s Nurses, giving expert help to approximately 21,000 families across the UK. Roald Dahl Specialist Nurses play a critical and complex role. They work directly with the patient and family whilst providing a link between them and the consultant and the hospital.
