The Roald Dahl Museum and Story Centre is looking for a Project Curator
Salary: £30,000 per annum for 37 hours per week
Type of post: 18 month fixed term contract, with possibility of extension
Are you passionate about creating dynamic and engaging museum displays? Do you thrive when working as part of a small, dynamic team? Do you love working on projects? If the answer is ‘yes’, you could be our new Project Curator.
The Roald Dahl Museum and Story Centre (RDMSC) welcomes thousands of people through our doors every year to experience the wonder and magic of Roald Dahl’s stories. Our Project Curator, reporting into the Galleries Project Manager, will develop the content, interpretation and design for the refurbished galleries. You will work closely with the Director, consultants, contractors and colleagues in Collections, Learning, PR & Marketing and Facilities and Visitor Experience to evolve the Museum’s offer for an even more successful future.
The Project Curator is a new role created to plan and develop new content as part of a major refurbishment project being delivered over the next four years. You will be a key member of a small and collaborative team that really values and supports professional development.
Come and work with our friendly team in the lovely village of Great Missenden, just 45 minutes by train from London and surrounded by the beautiful countryside that inspired Roald Dahl.
