Roald Dahl's Marvellous Children's Charity helps to make life better for seriously ill children in the UK.
We believe every child has the right to a more marvellous life, no matter how ill they are, or how short their life may be.
We focus upon helping those who have the biggest needs, and who aren't being fully supported by anybody else. This might be because they have a serious rare condition, be living in poverty, or not have any family at all.
I feel very lucky to be able to play with these toys and I do everyday. If I'm feeling generous I let my little brother have a play too.

Words cannot express what the weekend has done for us as a family. It gave our children a chance to mix with others with the same condition, and to talk and have fun.

My child is here today because of our Roald Dahl occupational therapist Kate. I can’t believe this service isn’t offered to every child with the same needs.

The impact on a child from a Fantastic Families Grant is over months and years. A tricycle builds up confidence when they’re young and this definitely helps them when they’re older.

Thanks to help from my Roald Dahl nurse Liz, I finally feel like I am capable of dealing with sickle cell disease. I feel like I can become who I want to be, and not allow this illness to overshadow me.
