Why choose Roald Dahl's Marvellous Children's Charity?

Thousands of children in the UK suffer from serious, long-term conditions. The children helped by Roald Dahl’s Marvellous Children’s Charity face the uncertainty of a serious illness, often rare or even unknown to the NHS, while their family struggles without the support and reassurance they need.

We’re a small charity with a big impact and focus our work where it’s needed most:

Did you know?

  • Marvin, our Marvellous Crocodile and unique charity mascot was created by our Marvellous President, Sir Quentin Blake!
  • We receive no government funding

Be part of Team Marvellous!

We may be small but we help children all over the UK – from Lands End to John O’Groats and across the water to Northern Ireland. Our support could be through one of our wonderful Roald Dahl Specialist Children’s Nurses or a direct grant to make life easier for an affected family facing financial hardship.

We help over 10,000 children every year, but there are many more who require our assistance.  By joining Team Marvellous you'll be helping us to reach those children and families who need us most.
