Roald Dahl's Marvellous Children's Charity receives marvellous support from local business Fit Club Amersham.
Earlier this year, Fit Club Amersham announced it had chosen Roald Dahl's Marvellous Children's Charity to be its charity of the year. For their first fundraising event of 2019, Fit Club will be hosting a Family Fun and Fit Day on Saturday 6 July. Designed to bring the community of Amersham together to celebrate fitness and raise money for Roald Dahl's Marvellous Children's Charity, a national children's charity which supports seriously ill children through Roald Dahl Nurses and Marvellous Family Grants.
The response from Fit Club's clients and other local businesses in Amersham has been tremendous. At the event, there will be a selection of stalls selling local crafts and produce, with plenty of activities for children including face painting, cookie decorating, free taster classes for grown-ups and lots, lots more. There will also be a marvellous raffle with wonderful prizes including a Golden Ticket providing a family with a FREE visit to The Roald Dahl Museum and Story Centre.
The fun kicks off at 8am on Saturday, perfect if clients and visitors alike are looking for something fun to do with their families in the morning. Fit Club Amersham is a community focussed gym with a huge range of classes, Personal Training and a Spin Studio in central Amersham. They offer flexible options for working out and are looking forward to supporting Roald Dahl's Marvellous Children's Charity throughout the year.
Roald Dahl's Marvellous Children's Charity is delighted to receive support from this local company. A spokesperson for the charity said, "We are thrilled to be supported by Fit Club Amersham. Their local support can help us do more as a national charity. We can't wait for the Family Fun and Fit Day and see what other fundraising events and activities they have planned throughout the partnership."
