Glawning, the creators of Glampfest, hold a marvellous raffle to raise money and awareness for seriously ill children in the UK.
Glampfest is a new family festival that takes place in North Yorkshire in May. Glampfest is run by Glawning, the company behind the glamping awnings that make heads turn! Director Sarah Martin was keen to support a children's charity and when she heard about the work of Roald Dahl specialist children's nurses, she decided to raise money at the festival with a charity raffle.
The festival saw families come together to enjoy great food, music and activities which kept everyone entertained. The charity information area took centre stage and provided visitors with marvellous information about how Roald Dahl's Marvellous Children's Charity helps seriously ill children. The raffle was an instant success with fantastic prizes to boot.
The charity raffle raised a wonderful £250.00 for Roald Dahl's Marvellous Children's Charity and inspired the Glampfest organisers to want to continue to show support for Roald Dahl's Marvellous Children's Charity at future events. Sarah said, "The charity raffle was magnificent and was very successful with Glampfest campers. We were delighted to raise £250.00 for seriously ill children and as Glampfest is an event that's perfect for families, we are aiming to continue to raise funds for the charity, who help thousands of children and their families every year."
