Cardboard hat for Willy Wonka? Check. Walking stick for Mrs Twit? Check. Books for Matilda? Check. It must have been the Dahlicious Dress Up Day.
Last Friday hundreds of schools across the country took part in a day of mischief and mayhem dressed as their favourite Roald Dahl character. From Twits to Enormous Crocodiles, school children were raising all important funds for Roald Dahl’s Marvellous Children’s Charity.
Thank you, thank you, thank you! We are so grateful for the support and enthusiasm from everyone who has taken part in the Dahlicious Dress Up Day this year. The money is already coming in and we can’t wait to help more seriously ill children brave the unknown through funding new Roald Dahl nurses and giving out Marvellous Family Grants
Sarah Reilly, Head of Dahlicious.
Lots of teachers and parents have been sending in photos of all the marvellous costumes and we’ve picked our favourites to share with you.
If you have photos that you would like to share with us, please email firstname.lastname@example.org and you could be featured on the website.
