Looking for some fun half term activities? We've got mischevious downloads, yummy recipes and even an interactive island to visit...

It's Half Term for many of us in the UK. Hooray! But wait - you're not bored yet, are you?

Well not to worry. Whether you like getting creative in the kitchen or playing a few little tricks like some of Roald Dahl's most mischevious characters, we've got some suggestions for fun and games this week - and beyond.

Recipes

From Liquid Chocolate Mixed By Waterfall to Fizzy Lifting Drinks to Rachel Khoo's yummy Veruca Salt-inspired Caramel Walnut Clusters, take a look at the tasty treats on offer over there in the panel.

Mr Wonka would be pleased.

Downloads

Fancy turning yourself into Mr Twit with your very own beard? Maybe you want to play a prank on someone, like Lavender when she added a newt to Miss Trunchbull's water glass? Or maybe you just want to get creative and think up some Willy Wonka treats of your own.

Whatever you fancy trying, we can help you create just a tiny bit of mayhem...

Games and Quizzes

Have you ever wanted to explore Mr Wonka's Chocolate Factory yourself? Poptropica allows you to do just that.

It's a fun, interactive, online world of themed islands that invites you to join Charlie Bucket in the Factory - and try to avoid the fates of the other Golden Ticket winners. Find out more here.

And, if you think you know all there is to know about Mr Wonka and Roald Dahl's other characters, why not test yourself (or your friends/parents/brothers/sisters/pets) with our series of quizzes - from Super Easy to Difficult.

Read

No Roald Dahl list would be complete without a few reading recommendations. Whether you're an animal lover, a magic-believer or you enjoy a funny rhyme, we've got some book suggestions for you.
