A little April Fools mischief from our friends at Puffin Books, inspired by Roald Dahl's terrible tricksters, Mr and Mrs Twit

As today is April Fool's Day - THE day of mischief and mayhem - our friends over at Puffin Books couldn't resist playing a little trick on us all, inspired by those upside-down Twits...

This morning, we were introduced to Mr Perry and Class 3P. Mr Perry apparently had a great new method for improving his students' enjoyment of reading...

But, of course, all was not as it seemed - as Class 3P revealed at midday UK time.

We still think this is a pretty good idea, though.

Take a look at the Puffin Books blog for more on the creation of this trick.

Are you a teacher with a love of Roald Dahl? Take our survey and tell us how you use the stories with your class, and you could win lots of lovely goodies including Esio Trot on DVD - a great end-of-term treat.
