Today's the day! We're celebrating Roald Dahl Day and 50 years of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory on 13 September 2014

The big day is finally here! On what would have been Roald Dahl's birthday, we're celebrating with a big chocolate-themed Roald Dahl Day party

Happy Roald Dahl Day, everyone!

Today would have been Roald Dahl's birthday, and so every year we declare September to be Roald Dahl Month and have a lot of fun celebrating.

This year, it's also 50 years since Charlie and the Chocolate Factory was published - so there are lots of especially tasty treats to turn this into one big party. Here are a few ways to celebrate - and you can also follow all the action on our social media channels via the #RoaldDahlDay tag. See you there!
