The World's First Oompa-Loompa Skydive, in aid of Roald Dahl's Marvellous Children's Charity

On the day Mr Wonka opened up the Chocolate Factory gates in the 1971 film, we present our own star Oompa-Loompas...

It's 1 October. According to the 1971 film adaptation of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, this is the VERY DAY Mr Wonka opened those Factory Gates for the first time to the Golden Ticket winners (though it's 1 February in the original story.)

So this is the perfect time to introduce our very own star Oompa-Loompas, as this Roald Dahl Day saw Specialist Children's Nurse Jodi Betts and 40 others take to the skies for a very special cause...

As well as celebrating 50 whipple-scrumptious years of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, our brave Oompa-Loompa skydivers were raising money for Roald Dahl's Marvellous Children's Charity, which helps make life better for seriously ill children in the UK.
