Find out how Kew Gardens are celebrating 50 years of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
Kew Gardens' Charlie and the Chocolate Factory celebrations are in full swing, with this year's Easter activities all being themed to help mark the 50th anniversary of this iconic story.
Kew's staff are even getting in on the action by sharing their favourite Charlie editions - take a look at the pictures above to see which covers took centre stage at Kew, and why not join in and send us a picture of the edition you had as a child?
Kew's Easter Charlie events continue until 21st April 2014 with face painting, Georgian cookery, drawing sessions in the Nut Room and - of course - lots and lots of chocolate, including the chance to join Cafe Twit's chefs in creating a very special Wonka bar.
The Roald Dahl Museum and Story Centre's storytellers will also be on hand to provide entertainment, and Kew are even offering four lucky winners the chance to get their hands on Premium tickets for the West End musical production of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. What a treat...
